The Presbyterian Friendship Center (known by church members as the “PFC”) is a spacious meeting facility completed in 2000. It is used for church activities and is also available for rental by the public for purposes consistent with the mission of the church. The building is directly across the street from the church. It is handicap-accessible and includes a fully equipped kitchen.
The Friendship Center is used regularly for
Sunday evening Centering Prayer (1st & 3rd Sundays)
Monday evening Boy Scouts (during the school year)
Wednesday Church Fellowship Night (during the school year)
Holiday dinners provided by Neighbor to Neighbor for the community
(Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas)
Other events are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis, although church use takes priority.Recent events held at the PFC include:
Wedding and anniversary receptions
Graduation parties
Funeral luncheons
Sports injury workshop
Preschool screening
Staff retreats and holiday parties
Drug Awareness Night
Fundraising events for various local non-profit organizations (e.g., Youth for Christ, Shelter from
the Storm, Pink Ladies of Grande Ronde Hospital , Grande Ronde Academy , EOU Chamber Choir)
